When Will Our Earth Be Free

This poem came to my mind after i saw the movie hotel Rwanda!!I got inspired by those actors who acted has the tutuis and hutuis, they made me feel for what happened and still happenin in certain areas of our beautiful home the earth!!So i told myself i should do somethim to make others realise whats happenin!!Well i do know that nothin could be done as it is meant to be this way,but i know everyone of us can help in the least possible way,and when put together can make the difference!!For those who havent seen the movie...no problem but dont miss it again!!U will like it a lot and do somethin as a consequence which will inturn give u peace!!!
Remember.........
"Prevention is indeed better than cure"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sky was so dark
Yeah it sure left a mark
No lights…..No fights
Findin this time was too tight
Just saw the beautiful moon
The sun will come along soon
Heard Trees whisperin in ma ears
Filled my eyes with flood of tears
Gentle breeze shoved off my fears
Just then…….
Awoke to find it was just a dream

Man has become soo mean
He has made others to look soo lean
Wouldn allow himself to live
Took away when he was supposed to give
There is no room for his satisfaction
Coz is greed is bigger than our home
He has allowed money to tame
He has been a part of dirty games
All this has been for fame

No food…No shelter
There isn’t any room for more disaster
Responsible one claims to be the master
Sorrowful Timid man runnin infront of this leader
Here is a bomb,there is a bomb
Everywhere there were only pieces of tombs
Leavin the mere small children to lay down and die
Had to bring them together as I tie
Hoped that this would be a lie
My heart was damaged as I sigh
Lights were insufficient with those lamps
But still my eyes soared to dee those camps
Made it more difficult for even to cry
Emotion made my motions damp

Fears loomed through those saved ones
Their heart was heavy with many tons
Death seemed to be merciful
I was broke to see those wives
As their husband n sons were stabbed with knives
Their daughters were cut and raped
Some of the little ones were left behind
No one to take their hand
People were busy fightin for the land
Lookin through them as I moved
There was no bravery
They had no option but to attain slavery
Some were sold,not without bribery
While others fought and killed barbarically
These thoughts loomed before my eyes
I stumbled down to my trembling feet
Worse of all there were men still marchin on their fleets

The sky still looked so dark
Yeah it sure left a mark
No lights…..No fights
Findin this time was too tight
Just saw the beautiful moon
The sun will come along soon
Heard Trees whisperin in ma ears
Filled my eyes with flood of tears
Gentle breeze shoved off my fears
Just then…….
I realized,this was my crazy’ol dream
When will our Earth be our’s??
When will our Earth be Free??
